Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 22 February 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before engaging the services of Electric Nutrition. By booking a consultation or purchasing a program, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Electric Nutrition
Electric Nutrition provides nutrition consultations, group programs, and wellness education services to women seeking support with nutrition, metabolic support, weight management and energy. Our services are provided by a Nationally Recognised Nutritionist and are educational and advisory in nature.
Important: Our services do not constitute medical advice and are not a substitute for diagnosis or treatment by a registered medical practitioner. Always consult your GP or specialist for any medical concerns.
2. Consultations and Programs
All consultations are conducted via in-person or video call, as agreed at the time of booking.
Sessions are for the duration specified at the time of booking. If you are late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.
A valid and accurate risk stratification form/health history form must be completed prior to your first consultation.
You are responsible for disclosing all relevant health information. Electric Nutrition accepts no liability for outcomes arising from withheld or inaccurate information.
3. Fees and Payment
All fees are listed on our website and/or provided in your booking confirmation.
Card details are taken securely at time of booking but actual payment is charged at the end of the appointment. By providing your card details you are authorising payment to be taken after the service is completed.
Prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and inclusive of GST where applicable.
Electric Nutrition reserves the right to update pricing with reasonable notice.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancel or reschedule with more than 24 hours notice — no problem at all. You can cancel or reschedule your appointment. No questions asked or process to move forward with.
Cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice — as this time has been reserved especially for you, 50% of the session fee will be held as a credit toward your next appointment rather than refunded. Credits will expire after 30 days.
No-shows — the full session fee will be held as a credit towards your next appointment, however we do ask that you reach out as soon as possible so we can help to reschedule an appointment for you. Credits will expire after 30 days.
We know that things can be unpredictable day to day so we would like to encourage you to reschedule your appointment rather than cancel all together.
If something unexpected comes up - please feel free to get in touch and we can discuss your options.
We also offer one complimentary late cancellation per year, per client, because we know that sometimes life really does get in the way!
If Electric Nutrition ever needs to reschedule or cancel on our end, you'll always be offered a full refund or a new appointment at no cost.
5. Refunds
We are committed to your satisfaction. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer refunds for services already rendered or for change of mind once a program has commenced. If you have concerns about your experience, please contact us directly so we can work to find a resolution.
6. Scope of Practice
Electric Nutrition services are provided by a Nationally Recognised Nutritionist. We do not diagnose medical conditions, prescribe medications, or provide clinical dietetic advice. Clients with complex medical conditions require nutritional expertise of a Registered Practicing Dietitian. Please read our full scope of practice here.
7. Client Responsibilities
To get the most from our services, you agree to:
Complete and submit your intake forms accurately at least 24 hrs prior to your appointment. This is a crucial step in the consultative process and is a requirement stipulated by the registering body - Nutrition Council of Australia.
Engage openly and honestly during consultations
Follow agreed nutrition plans to the best of your ability and communicate any difficulties
Attend scheduled appointments or provide adequate notice of cancellation
Understand that results vary between individuals and are not guaranteed
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by Electric Nutrition — including meal plans, handouts, presentations, and digital content — are the intellectual property of Electric Nutrition. These may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed without prior written consent.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Electric Nutrition's liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the total fees paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal and health information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website. Your information will never be sold or shared without your consent. See our Privacy Policy here.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
12. Changes to These Terms
Electric Nutrition reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
